WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department [WPD] is investigating a stabbing in the city’s Canal District on Saturday evening.
According to the WPD, officers were dispatched around 10:10 PM to Kelley Square for a report of a stabbing.
Officers found a 21-year-old male stabbing victim upon arrival. He had been stabbed in the back. The victim was treated by paramedics and brought to a local hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Officers located a crime scene in front of Makao Restaurant at 181 Millbury St. The crime scene was processed, and detectives were called to investigate.
