WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department announced on Wednesday afternoon that they are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual for questioning in regards to a non-fatal shooting on Newbury St.

The shooting took place just after midnight on Christmas Eve and the victim, a 16-year-old, suffered a single gunshot wound to his leg. According to the WPD, shots were fired from a passing car.
