WORCESTER – On Thursday morning, members of the Worcester Police Department’s Neighborhood Response Team arrested 21-year-old Antoine Armstrong for distribution of cocaine and drug violation within 1000 feet of a school.
According to the WPD, officers observed Armstrong, of 25 Queen St, walking around aimlessly in the area of Main and Chatham St. Following a short period, a female walked up to Armstrong and appeared to give him money. Armstrong looked around in all directions before spitting two small bags of crack-cocaine into the female’s hand.
Officers then stopped Armstrong and placed him under arrest. While the officers were waiting for the wagon to transport Armstrong to the station, his phone kept ringing with people who were interested in buying crack cocaine.
He will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
