WORCESTER – Late Friday night, Worcester Police officers arrested 40-year-old Antonio Lucas for the murder of his ex-girlfriend.
According to the Worcester PD, officers were dispatched around 9:10 PM to 27 County St. for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, witnesses told them there had been a stabbing. Inside the residence at 27 County St., officers and paramedics found a female victim who had been stabbed. She was pronounced dead.
The Worcester Police Detective Bureau and Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene to investigate. Detectives developed probable cause that Lucas, of 27 County St., had stabbed the victim, whom he had previously dated.
Lucas was placed under arrest for Murder.
