WORCESTER – A 29-year-old Worcester man was brought to the hospital late Sunday night, March 14, after being shot during a home invasion on Patch Reservoir Drive.
According to the Worcester Police Department [WPD], officers responded to an address on Patch Reservoir Dr. around 10:15 PM for a report of a home invasion and shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a serious gunshot wound. Officers rendered medical aid to the victim and paramedics transported him to the hospital. Detectives arrived to process the scene.
Police say the door to the residence had been forced open.
