WORCESTER – The Worcester Public Library holds its fifth annual WPL Community Block Party at the main library branch at 3 Salem Sq., on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The McGrath Parking Lot, the lot closest to the library, will offer free parking for all block party attendees with validation available during the hours of the event.
The block party features free performances, programs and activities for all ages, food trucks, and a Friends of the Worcester Public Library book sale.
Organizers expect over 60 vendors present during the event, including artisans and non-profit organizations.
