WORCESTER – Out of more than 180 cities across America that were studied, the city of Worcester ranks #20 in the country for safety.

In their most recent report — 2018’s Safest Cities in America — the data experts at WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across 39 key indicators of safety — with data set ranges from assaults per capita to unemployment rate to road quality.

According to the report, Worcester ranked 2nd in the country among cities with the lowest percentage of uninsured residents.
