WORCESTER – Finding rent too high in Worcester? Or do you consider your landlord more of a slumlord?

According to a recent study from the data experts at Wallethub, because of these reasons — and several others — Worcester is considered one of the worst places to rent in America.

The study — 2018’s Best and Worst Places to Rent in America — ranks Worcester #164 of 182 cities across the country.

Worcester ranks #133 in rental market and affordability and #150 in quality of life. Other key measurements include set ranges from the difference between rental rates and mortgage payments to historical price changes, the cost of living and jobs availability.
