Worcester Ranks Low Among “Foodie” Cities in America

The data experts at Wallethub released a study on Tuesday, Oct. 10 titled “2017’s Best Foodie Cities in America.” The city of Worcester ranked #146 among the 182 cities compared across 24 key indicators of foodie-friendliness.

Wallethub’s data ranged from cost of groceries to affordability and accessibility of high-quality restaurants to food festivals per capita.

Among cities in New England, Worcester ranked behind Boston (#40), Portland, ME (#72), Providence (#89), Burlington, VT (#117) and Manchester, NH (#134).
