Worcester Red Sox Release 2022 Season Schedule

WORCESTER - Major League Baseball released the 2022 game schedule on Monday, August 30, including the schedule for the Worcester Red Sox.

On April 5, 2022, the Worcester Red Sox open the season in Jacksonville, Florida against the AAA affiliate for the Miami Marlins, the Jumbo Shrimp.

The first game of 2022 in Polar Park is Tuesday, April 12, 2022, when the WooSox host the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, the affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

In 2022, the WooSox schedule expands to a 144 games, including 72 games at Polar Park. Polar Park’s 2021 schedule holds 65 games.

Five new teams are on the team’s schedule for 2022. Polar Park will host the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay) and Toledo Mud Hens (Detroit), and Charlotte Knights (White Sox). The Worcester Red Sox will travel to Jacksonville and Norfolk, VA (Baltimore).

Every series but two will be six-game sets, with Monday as a scheduled off-day.

The team hosts three-game series when the Syracuse Mets visits Polar Park from July 22 through July 24. Syracuse also visits Worcester to end the season with a three-game series from September 19 through September 21.
