WORCESTER – The City of Worcester has announced that the Worcester Senior Center is open will be open to residents that have lost power and water and others who have been impacted by Wednesday’s major snowstorm.

There are bathroom facilities available, charging stations for phones and mobile devices, and water jugs or containers can be filled. City of Worcester DPW crews as well as National Grid crews are both working hard to restore services to affected areas as soon as possible.

Wednesday’s nor’easter left more than 16 inches of snow in Worcester, and thousands of people without power in the cityt and the surrounding towns.
