Police Arrest 16-year-old Male for Crompton Park Shooting

UPDATE: Police arrested a 16-year-old boy on May 14, in connection with a May 7 shooting in Crompton Park.

Police arrested the boy for an outstanding warrant.

WORCESTER - Worcester Police responded to a potential shooting around Crompton Park around 7:45 PM on Friday, May 7.

Officers arriving on the scene found a 16-year-old gunshot victim around the playground area.

Officers provided medical attention until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Worcester Police Detective Bureau is investigating the shooting and asks for members of the public to assist with information about the shooting.
