WORCESTER – An officer in an unmarked vehicle with the Worcester Police Department Neighborhood Response Team saw a man on a dirt bike travelling near Russel St at around 4:30 PM on Monday, April 26.
The dirt bike travelled on the sidewalk on Bellevue St. and onto Chandler St. The officer eventually saw the bike come to a stop on King St.
The officer approached and identified the rider as Albert Torres-Colon, 20, of Worcester.
During the investigation, the officer discovered cocaine and cash in the possession of Torres-Colon.
A check of the vehicle Torres-Colon was riding revealed that its owner reported the bike stolen.
Torres-Colon faces charges of:
- Receiving Stolen Property
- Disorderly Conduct
- Operating an OHV on a Public Way
- Operating without a Helmet
- Operating a Vehicle Recklessly
- Possession of Class B Substance
