Worcester Sun Temporarily Ceases Publication

WORCESTER – The Worcester Sun, a twice-a-week digital and print publication, has announced it will be temporarily ceasing publication.

The publication launched in Aug. 2015, and introduced a print publication just recently on Dec. 9, 2017.

An email message on Wednesday morning stated that the publication had run into unexpected problems and were going to take time away to fix those issues, review feedback from subscribers and assess their place in the local media market.

The message ended with: “Our goal is the same as the day we launched in August 2015, to create the kind of impact journalism the Worcester community can rally behind and support. We are extremely grateful and thankful for your support. You’re the reason we’ve come as far as we have since 2015. We are hopeful we can soon return to fulfill that promise.”
