WORCESTER – The Worcester-area is expected to receive nearly an inch of rain this weekend — starting Thursday night and lasting through Sunday evening — according to the National Weather Service [NWS].
The NWS forecast for Worcester calls for sporadic rainfall Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a weekend-high temperature on Saturday of 67 degrees and a weekend-low of 42 degrees on Sunday night.

After the rainy stretch, Monday and Tuesday are expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-60s.
However, the rain may make a come back on Wednesday and Thursday with a 40% chance of precipitation on Wednesday night.
