WORCESTER – The National Weather Service [NWS] has issued at hazardous weather outlook for the Worcester area beginning Wednesday and lasting through early next week.

According to the NWS, there is the potential for strong and possibly severe thunderstorms, excessive rainfall, and gusty winds. There also remains a strong risk of flooding in urban areas.
