WORCESTER – June is Pride month and members of the LGBTQ community looking for love may have a better chance finding it in Worcester than most places across the country.
According to a recent study, Worcester ranks #18 among the 200 largest U.S. cities for being most welcoming of the LGBTQ community and dating opportunities.
LawnStarter ranked each city on 17 key indicators of LGBTQ lifestyle- and dating-friendliness, as well as single population, LGBTQ-friendly housing and services.
Worcester ranked below large cities like San Francisco, Boston, New York City and several others, but ranked better than Las Vegas, Baltimore and Springfield, Mass.
