WORCESTER – The City of Worcester’s annual tree lighting will be available to stream live right from your home this year due to safety measures in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The tree lighting will take place on Wednesday, December 9 at 6 PM on Spectrum Cable channel 192, Facebook Live and on the City of Worcester’s website.

City officials will join Santa Claus for the tree lighting.

The Worcester Common Oval skating rink will be closed and there won’t be any live music performances or vendors this year.
