WORCESTER – The City of Worcester’s permanent winter parking ban is in effect starting Dec. 1.

From Dec. 1 to April 30, on emergency arteries, WRTA routes, and streets that are critical to the flow of traffic, there is no parking on one or both sides of the street between 2 AM and 6 AM and anytime a snow emergency is declared.

The standard ban calls for no parking on the even numbered side of the street.
