WORCESTER – One of the more popular venues for live music is shutting its doors on Friday, May 18.

According to multiple sources, The Kas Bar, located on Rt. 20 in Worcester, has been sold and will be hosting a “Farewell Party” on Sunday, May 13 at 2 PM.

The party will feature live band karaoke and an open jam session for local musicians and bands.

The bar typically featured live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights and on Sunday afternoons, as well as an outdoor bar during the summer and several pool tables. Kas Bar served breakfast, lunch and dinner.
