WORCESTER – On Saturday, the Worcester area tied a new record-low temperature and now the National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of snow on Tuesday.
According to the NWS, there’s an 80% chance of precipitation on Tuesday with a mix of rain and snow.
A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued from Sunday through Friday due to the potential for snow and ice starting Tuesday.
The NWS says accumulations look to be on the minor side, but the possibility of a winter weather advisory may be needed if a period of light freezing rain occurs.
