WORCESTER – Worcester Police are investigating a shooting of a 39-year-old male near Main St. and King St. on Sunday, May 10, just before 10 AM.
A police officer was travelling on Main St. at the time of the shooting and heard the shots when they were fired.
The victim was provided assistance by Worcester Police officers until EMS arrived. He was transported to a local hospital. His status is unknown at this time.
Little is known about the circumstances of the shooting. There is no description of the culprit.
