WORCESTER – Late Sunday night, Worcester Police officers found a 33-year-old man standing in the driveway of a Burncoat St. address holding a bloody shirt to his face.

The male victim told an officer that he had been stabbed. The officer called an ambulance and the victim was taken to a local hospital. He was suffering from stab wounds in the face and back areas. The injuries were serious, but not life threatening.

Witnesses told the officers that the victim was with two other males working on an ATV in the driveway when the victim got into an argument with one of the other males. The argument turned into a physical altercation. One of the males took out a knife and stabbed the victim.

Worcester Detectives arrived at the scene and took over the investigation. Members of the Crime Scene Unit arrived as well and processed evidence.

Investigators are attempting to locate the suspect.
