WPD Seeking Suspect of Attempted Robbery of Woman at ATM on Lincoln Street

WORCESTER – On Thursday morning, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to a Bank of America ATM on Lincoln Street for a report of an attempted armed robbery.

According to the WPD, a female victim withdrew money from the ATM at 490 Lincoln St., and when she returned to her vehicle, a male suspect was in the backseat demanding money. The suspect told the victim he had a gun.

The victim yelled for help and an employee of the ATM servicing company came over to help her. The suspect fled and hasn’t been located yet.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9” tall with a scruffy beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
