WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department have announced a traffic advisory for Tuesday morning from 10 AM to 11:30 AM near Worcester State University.
According to the WPD, the “Wreaths Across America” — an organization that places wreaths on each soldiers’ graves at Arlington National Cemetary — will be taking place at WSU, after making its way from Harrington, ME and before heading to Arlington.
The “Wreaths Across America” convoy is made up of 15 tractor trailer units, buses and other vehicles.

The Worcester Police Department would like to inform the motoring public that an event is being held at Worcester State University tomorrow morning beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 11: 30 a.m. This event is “Wreaths Across America” which is an organization that places a wreath on every Soldier’s Grave at Arlington National Cemetery. The Wreaths Across America (WAA) caravan is making its way from Harrington, Maine, to Arlington National Cemetery and is stopping at Worcester State University along the way. The Worcester Police Department is anticipating the convoy to arrive in the city at approximately 10:00 a.m. The convoy consists of about 15 Tractor Trailer units, buses and many other vehicles that will be getting off of I190 at Exit 1, West Boylston St., heading down Park Ave and turning up Chandler St. to WSU. The convoy will leave WSU at approximately 11:30 AM travel down Chandler St through Kelly Square and onto I290 West Bound. We ask for your patience as traffic will be stopped on the affected streets for just a few minutes to get this convoy to WSU and then to I 290.
