WORCESTER – Worcester Public Library Director Jason Homer recently joined Talk of the Commonwealth with Hank Stolz to discuss the recent attack on an employee at the main library branch, and how the library is addressing the issue.

As This Week in Worcester previously reported, the City of Worcester announced that an unprovoked attack occurred on August 8, when a patron struck a staff member with a skateboard at the main branch of the library at 3 Salem Sq. Worcester police arrested the man allegedly responsible for the attack.

During the discussion, Homer said the employee is recovering well and asking when they can return to work.
