WORCESTER – The Worcester Public Library joins the American Library Association and libraries across the U.S. for Library Card Sign-Up Month beginning Sept. 1.

Those that sign up for a library card at the WPL in September are entered into a drawing for drawing to win one of four WPL swag bags. One winner will be selected for each of the following age groups: children (0-11), teens (12-17), adults (18-59), and age 60 and up.

Library card sign-up is available at any WPL location during normal operating hours. Proof of address is required to sign-up. Help-desk staff is available by phone at (508) 799-1655 ext 2. They can assist with a new library card or renewal, update contact information, access your account online, and other account issues.
