WORCESTER – Public schools in Worcester are closed on Tuesday, January 11.
According to a statement by Worcester Public Schools [WPS], COVID-19 regulations require school bus windows to remain open. With freezing temperatures forecast on Tuesday, WPS said the possibility of frostbite increased.
The statement also said an increase in COVID-19 positive cases among transportation personnel would make buses as much as 30 minutes late.
