WORCESTER – A 37-year-old man was stabbed in the back during a fight at the Worcester Regional Transit Authority [WRTA] hub on Monday evening.
According to the Worcester Police Dept., officers were dispatched to the WRTA hub at 60 Foster St. around 6:20 PM.
Officers found the male victim with a stab wound to his back. He was transported to the hospital by paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.
The WPD’s initial investigation revealed that the victim had been arguing with a small group of people when a fight broke out.
During the fight, the victim was stabbed and the group of people dispersed.
The Crime Scene Unit arrived the hub to process the scene.
