X-Golf Bringing Simulators, Full Bar to Trolley Yard in Worcester

WORCESTER – Worcester’s Trolley Yard has a new, year-round destination.

X-Golf Indoor Golf Simulator is opening in the Grove Street shopping plaza next door to The Goddard School of Worcester.

X-Golf will feature nine state-of-the-art golf simulators which will allow golfers of all talent levels to play any of 100 golf courses from around the world.

Owner Marc Catanese tells ThisWeekinWorcester.com he expects X-Golf to be open by late January, in time for golfers to take advantage of the winter months and get early swings in before the spring and summer golf seasons.

Catanese is originally from Worcester, and spent the first 30 years of his life in the Worcester area before moving to the Providence-area He has spent more than 20 years in the data storage industry and has been part-time aviator for the past 27 years.

The is the only X-Golf location Catanese owns, but the X-Golf franchise will have around 50 locations open across the country by early 2022.

The Worcester location will also feature a full bar, food menu and a pro shop to rent and buy golf clubs, get fitted for clubs or have your clubs regripped. The menu will feature a 12-inch pizza, wings, tenders and more.

X-Golf is also available to host tournaments and leagues, as well as corporate parties and other functions.

The location’s tentative hours of operation will be Monday to Thursday 9 AM to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 12 AM and Sunday 10 AM to 7 PM.
