Ziggy Bombs to Pop-Up at Wormtown Brewery this Fall

WORCESTER – Specialty steak and cheese sandwiches are all the craze on the Worcester food scene right now  thanks to Ziggy Bombs and Wormtown Brewery is getting in on the fun.

Ziggy Bombs, launched this summer by Mike “Ziggy the Cook” Devish, will be hosting pop-ups on select Fridays this fall at Wormtown on Shrewsbury Street.

Ziggy Bombs sells steak and cheese sandwiches, each with its own unique spin. For example, the Pu Pu Platter steak and cheese has all the fixings from a Nancy Chang’s restaurant pu pu platter. And the “Zig Mac” is a steak and cheese topped with Thousand Island dressing, pickles, American cheese, lettuce and tomato — just like a McDonald’s Big Mac sandwich.

Ziggy Bombs has hosted two pop-ups this summer at Lucky’s Cafe on Grove Street where Devish works as a cook.

According to Devish, Ziggy Bombs will be serving up steak and cheese sandwiches at Wormtown Brewery during the evenings of Sept. 24, Oct. 15 and Oct. 29. Times will be announced as the events get closer to their scheduled dates.
