STURBRIDGE – A 16-year-old male was involved in single-car crash while travelling on the eastbound side of Rt. 84 in Sturbridge on Monday, October 12.
First responders who arrived at the scene determined the teen had died due to his injuries.
Massachusetts State Police [MSP] received a report of the crash at 10:15 PM. When they arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the Subaru Forester the teen was driving off the left side of the road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the Subaru first veered to its right and struck the guardrail It then veered across all three lanes of traffic, off the left side of the road, down an embankment and struck several trees.
The crash remains under investigation by the MSP.
