WORCESTER – District Attorney Joe Early Jr.’s office announced on Monday, November 29, that a jury in Worcester Superior Court found Julia Enright, 24, of Ashburnham, guilty of second-degree murder.

The discovery of the body of Brandon Chicklis, 20, of Westminster, on the side of Route 119 in Rindge, NH, weeks after his family last saw him on June 23, 2018, led to the arrest of Enright in July 2018. She remained in custody since her arrest.

The jury heard 10 days of testimony with over 45 witnesses and 240 exhibits before deliberating around two days before rendering its verdict. The judge scheduled sentencing in for January 18.

Early said that the State Police in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Ashburnham and Westminster Police, State Police Crime Scene Services, the State Police Dive Team, the State Police Special Emergency Response Team, State Police civilian forensic scientists, the New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office all contributed to the investigation.
