3 Patients at Worcester Healthcare Facility Die from COVID-19

WORCESTER – Three patients at the Jewish Healthcare Center on Salisbury St. have died from COVID-19 related illness.

A total of 16 patients have tested positive, including those who passed away.

Six staff members at the Jewish Healthcare Center have also tested positive for COVID-19. Another six are waiting for test results.

The Center primarily provides a long-term care program for elderly residents. It also provides home care and post-hospital rehabilitation.

The Jewish Healthcare Center opened in 1916 as the Jewish Home for Aged and Orphans. It changed its name in 1995.
