Three Juveniles, Two Men Arrested in Worcester Traffic Stop

WORCESTER – Police received a report of individuals acting suspiciously while in possession of firearms near Moreland Street at around 2 AM on Monday, February 21.

After arriving at the scene, officer learned two men with firearms exited a blue BWM and seemed to be hiding near a residence. The individuals left in the vehicle, but soon returned and walked around the property before leaving again.

An officer saw a blue BMW speeding near Main Street and Hammond Street about an hour later and stopped the vehicle near Herman Street.

After additional officers arrived, they approached the vehicle containing five individuals.

According to the Worcester Police Department, the driver, Thaddeus Rodriguez-Felix, 18, of Westborough, exited the vehicle, pushed one of the officers, and attempted to flee. Rodriguez-Felix was arrested.

Three occupants, all male, were juveniles, including two 17-year-olds and a sixteen-year-old. Police say a firearm was located in the waistband of the 16-year old, who attempted to flee after being handcuffed. All three juveniles were arrested.

Inside the vehicle, officers locate a handgun and multiple bags of what appeared to be heroin inside the vehicle.

Rodriguez-Felix and another passenger, Jimmy Feliciano, 18, of Worcester were arrested. Both face charges of:

  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm,
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm,
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm,
  • Carrying a Firearm without a License,
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card,
  • Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol.
