5 Great Ways to Spend Your Weekend in Worcester

Spring is in the air! Spring is usually seen as a new beginning, so start over again this season with unique events and learning opportunities around you.

Make this month a new beginning for you by discovering events in the area. ThisWeekinWorcester.com has five fun events to get you excited for spring.

Fill up your Saturday and Sunday with workshops, classes, and entertainment that will make you feel like a new person!

Treat your tastebuds at a popup event!

This Saturday from 12 PM to 9 PM, savor a delicious selection of meats. Captain Caveman and Sons is popping up at Fiddlers’ Green in Worcester. Come by to try smoked pastrami sandwiches, grass fed steak tacos, and Buffalo chicken tater tots. Live music will be playing and slow down brewing beer will be on draft.

Make a masterpiece!

Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons, and you will be able to capture this season with art! Join Odonata Artistic Services and April Small at the Charlton Arts and Activities Center in Charlton this Sunday for their Spring Family Friendly Paint class. The class will run from 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM. Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for kids. Tickets include supplies and instruction.

Feel the burn this weekend!

Wake up Sunday morning for a stretch and workout from 9 AM to 10 AM. Head to Athleta in Millbury for a free Barre Yoga class. Attendees should bring a folding chair, yoga mat, and water. If weather permits, the class will be held outside, so dress accordingly. Each participant will receive a $15 shop card and early access to shop the store. Be sure to register in advance.

Polish your skills for creative expression!

This Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM, join Booklover’s Gourmet in Webster for their Poetry Workshop. Instructor Robert Eugene Perry will be leading the workshop and will be focusing the workshop on the process of writing, editing, and publishing. There are only 6 seats available per class, so be sure to reserve your spot. Tickets are $25.

Finish the week with live music and great drinks!

Swing by Timberyard Brewing Company for a relaxing evening. This Saturday from 7 PM to 10 PM, Timberyard in East Brookfield will be hosting live music by the Pub Kings. Enjoy the night with close friends, craft beer, live music, and good cheer!
