Color the Curbs Skate Jam on Franklin Street on Friday
The Color the Curbs skate jam is kicking off from the steps of the former Worcester Voke at Lincoln Square on Friday at 4:30 and skateboarders will make their way to Franklin Street.
The event is sponsored by 508 Bike Life, Woo Skates and Push Worcester.
Back to School Vaccine Clinic on Friday at El Buen Samaritano Food Program
El Buen Samaritano Food Program Inc. is hosting a back-to-school mobile vaccine clinic on Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM at 39 Piedmont St.
Vaccines are free for anyone ages six months or older.
There will be free snacks and water. Parking is free.
‘We are Worcester’ Dolls on Display at City Hall
There are two “We are Worcester” dolls now on display inside City Hall. The dolls are part of a collection of 18 large-scale sculptures created as part of the Worcester Tercentennial celebration.
Each doll represents the diversity of Worcester’s residents and are created in the image of the people of 16 different countries. Dolls can be found at the Worcester Art Museum, the Worcester Regional Airport, the Worcester Public Library, the Worcester Senior Center and Saint Vincent Hospital.

UMass Cancer Walk and Run Hosting Karaoke Contest Fundraiser
UMass Cancer Walk and Run is hosting a karaoke contest to benefit cancer research at Volturno Pizza and Wormtown Brewery on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester on Sept. 29.
The benefit will include two dinner seatings (5:30 PM and 6:30 PM) at Volturno. Following dinner, Wormtown will be hosting the karaoke contest.
Tickets are $40 each and include admittance to karaoke show, pizza and salad at Volturno, and one pint at Wormtown. Purchase tickets online here.

Worcester Police, Fire to Play at Polar Park to Benefit Manny 267 Foundation
The Worcester Police and Fire departments will take the field at Polar Park to benefit the Manny 267 Foundation this fall.
The first pitch for the first “Police vs. Fire Baseball Classic” will be at 6 PM on Sept. 26.
