Broadway in Worcester Season 2 Launches September 23
Broadway in Worcester kicks off its second season on Friday, September 23, with “An Evening with Chita Rivera and Seth Rudetsky” at the Brickbox Theatre.
This unscripted evening will feature the legendary Broadway icon Rivera in intimate conversation and song alongside Sirius XM Radio host Seth Rudetsky at the piano. Together they will perform many of Rivera’s signature songs from her vast musical theatre repertoire. Ms. Rivera is perhaps best known for her now legendary roles of Anita in West Side Story, Rose in Bye Bye Birdie, and Velma in Chicago, among many others.

Worcester Union Athletics Hosting Softball Tryouts
Tryouts start this weekend for girls 10U through 18U to join Worcester Union Athletics for the 2022-2023 season.
Worcester Union Athletics has a complete fall softball program, winter workouts, spring and summer softball tournaments, and provides academic assistance, college recruitment and community service.

WCAC Head Start Accepting Applications for Fall 2022
Worcester Community Action Council Head Start and Early Head Start are accepting applications for the start of the school year at their sites in Southbridge and Webster.
The Center Based School program is for children ages 3 to 5. Full day and half day enrollment is available.
WCAC also offers a home-based program for expectant moms and infants and toddlers up to the age of 3.

Apply to Join the Working for Worcester Managing Team
Working for Worcester is calling on college students to apply to be part of the managing team.
Roles include site development, inventory and purchasing, volunteer recruitment, managing digital platforms, fundraising, social media, event planning, and brand manager.
