WEST BOYLSTON – The Worcester County District Attorney’s office released the name of a West Boylston man killed in a crash in Devens on Wednesday.
Just after 5:30 AM on Wednesday, a truck driven by John Ahern Jr., 62, of West Boylston, crashed into a building at 85 Patton Rd. in Devens.
When emergency response arrived at the scene, the truck was on fire. When emergency response personnel located Aherns, he was dead. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
No occupants of the building reported injuries.
The Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the crash. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
