WORCESTER – Vice Squad officers reported to Bluff Street on Monday morning to execute a search warrant on a vehicle and residence, leading to the arrest a man on several drug charges.
Ali Alexander, 47, of Worcester, the target of the warrant, left the residence at around 9:25 AM. According to the Worcester Police Department, Alexander attempted to pull away from officers when they moved in to detain him.
According to police, officers located what they believed to be 110 grams of fentanyl and 143 grams of cocaine in a bag in his possession. They also say they located multiple bags of Oxycodone pills.
Alexander faces the following charges:
- Trafficking a Class A Substance 100-199 Grams;
- Trafficking a Class B Substance 100-199 Grams,
- Trafficking in a Class A Substance 18-36 Grams, and
- Resisting Arrest.
