WORCESTER – Art’s Food & Spirits, formerly known as Art’s Diner, at 541 West Boylston St. in Worcester is for sale for $139,900.
The bar and restaurant hit the market on Monday. The business is being sold as is.
According to realtor Paul Sullivan, the current owners, Brooks and Barbara Carter, purchased the bar five years ago and have invested around $200,000 in interior and exterior updates.
Art’s Diner opened in 1950.
There’s seating for 10 people at the bar, along with several tables to seat anywhere from 10 to 20 additional people, including three high top tables near the bar. The patio has additional space to seat about 15 guests.
The bar faces West Boylston Street and has railroad tracks running directly behind it. There’s parking for about a dozen vehicles in a small lot next to the bar.
Art’s is open five days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3 PM to close and Friday and Saturday 1 PM to close.
