WORCESTER – Dudley District Court, Concord District Court, and the Nantucket Probate and Family Court were evacuated on Thursday after being included in a nationwide wave of bomb threats across the country. The threats were received by courts, schools, hospitals, synagogues, and other institutions and government buildings across the country.

The Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad has responded to some threats in the state, including conducting searches at Beverly Hospital and Falmouth Jewish Congregation. State police say they believe the threats are fraudulent and originate from the same source.

This Week in Worcester was provided an email sent to one Massachusetts Court that claimed explosives were placed “inside of your Court, but also inside every Court within your state.” The email claimed it came from a member of a group called “Terrorizers111.”

Axios has published a summary of the threats received across the country.
