WORCESTER – Officers with the Worcester Police Department Vice Squad surveilling the area near Fox Street arrested a man after observing several drop-offs on Tuesday, February 2.
Police allege that Elvin Castillo-Leonard, 32, of Worcester, drove a Subaru up to multiple addresses and beeped the horn, and hand-to-hand exchanges followed. Police followed the vehicle to View Street, where two individuals entered the vehicle and soon dropped off.
Police stopped the two after being dropped off and located bags of what they believed to be heroin.
Officers stopped the Subaru on Vernon Street and found heroin within it.
Castillo-Leonard faces charges of:
- Distribution of a Class A Substance (Heroin)
- Possession of a Class A Substance
- Intent to Distribute
