WORCESTER – A family-friendly event in Worcester will highlight “childtrepreneurs” and focus on youth empowerment Sunday, June 9, at the PNI Club at 290 Millbury St. in Worcester. The event is produced by Kittiey’s Closet and Get Fabb with Ari. The event runs from 10 AM to 7 PM.
Community of Unity 2024 will feature a range a range of art displays, with the local artists present. Artists include digital and freehand, including nail techs and beauty specialists. There will also be speakers, performers, games, food trucks, pop up shops, free hair cuts, face painting, and more.
Several local businesses, including a varierty of food from pop up vendors and food trucks, will be available.
Those who dress in the unity colors of the event, pink, purple, and yellow, will get a free entry to win the Family Fun Time basket contest.
The event will feature:
- 10:30 AM: a prayer to open the event
- 11 AM to 12:30 PM: Guest speakers
- 12 PM to 3 PM: Contests and games
- 3 PM to 5 PM: Performances
- 5 PM to 7 PM: Games until the event concludes at 7 PM
Scheduled performers include Elijah David, Kaleb Williamson, Bridge of Destiny, Ella and Enivian.
There will also be a selfie room to make it a day to remember.
Admission is free for any student with a Worcester Public Schools or Nativity School of Worcester student ID. Any student with any report card showing two or more A’s in the current school semester also receives free admission.
