WORCESTER – Police arrested a local man on Saturday, May 25, on charges related to a stabbing earlier this month.
Joseph Erb, 35, of Worcester, was arrested on a warrant for charges related to an afternoon stabbing on Chandler Street.
Police responded to the lower area of Chandler Street at around 3:30 PM on May 2, in response to a report of an assault with a dangerous weapon.
Upon arriving at the scene, the first responding officer located a man suffering from wounds after being stabbed. The officer provided medical aid until the man was transported to a local hospital.
