Last Day for Early Voting in MA
Today — Friday, October 30 — is the final day for early voting in Massachusetts.
Worcester residents interested in taking advantage of the final day before Tuesday’s Election Day, can visit the Worcester State University Wellness Center from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Worcester Closes Oval Ice Skating, Cancels Festival of Lights
The City of Worcester announced on Thursday, October 29, that the Worcester Common Oval Public Ice Skating Rink will remain closed for the season due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The city has also cancelled its annual Festival of Lights.
A virtual tree lighting ceremony will take place. A date has yet to be determined.

Worcester Chamber Music Society Live Stream Event November 19
The Worcester Chamber Music Society [WCMS] continues its new Spotlight Concert series featuring the core members of the group. The concerts are being live-streamed from the acoustically spectacular Shapiro Hall at Joy of Music in Worcester.
The fourth and final concert in this series features WCMS violinists Krista Buckland Reisner and Rohan Gregory performing an exuberant program of music for one or two violins.
The live stream is on Thursday, November 19, at 7:30 PM. The program will be available on-demand between November 21 – November 25.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $18 for a household, $5 for students, youth 17 and under, and EBT card holders are free.
Get McDonald’s New Baked Goods Free
On Wednesday, October 28, McDonald’s rolled out new baked goods for the first time in eight years. You can now find Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin and Cinnamon Roll on the menu.
From November 3 through November 9 you can try one of these new items for free with a purchase of any sized Premium Roast or Iced McCafé coffee through the McDonald’s mobile app.
To redeem, customers can simply place their McCafé coffee order on the McDonald’s App (any time of the day) and select one of the three new McCafé bakery items.
This offer is available once per day, every day of the week at participating restaurants nationwide.
