WORCESTER – The tail end of April School Vacation will be a wet one.
According to the National Weather Service [NWS], Worcester is in for four straight days of rain beginning Thursday afternoon and lasting through Sunday morning.Â

Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday Night: Showers or drizzle likely, mainly before 7pm. Patchy fog before 2am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 54 by 5am. South wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Friday: Patchy drizzle with a chance of showers before 9am, then showers likely, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 65. Southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
