Holy Cross Football Hosts Harvard at Polar Park Sept. 30

WORCESTER, Mass. — Polar Park hosts Holy Cross Crusaders’ college football this fall as they host the Harvard University Crimson on Sept. 30. This will be the third straight year of football at the ballpark and the first time two Massachusetts schools will compete there.

The Crusaders, four-time Patriot League champions, had a historic 12-1 run in 2022, ending with a quarterfinal loss to eventual FCS national champion South Dakota State. Holy Cross head coach Bob Chesney was named 2022 Patriot League Coach of the Year for the second straight season. The Crusaders and Crimson have met 73 times since 1904, with Harvard leading the series 45-26-2, though Holy Cross won their last match-up in 2021.
