Infants Found on Railroad Tracks in Worcester’s Main South Area

WORCESTER  – Early Wednesday morning, railroad employees discovered twin male babies near railroad tracks in the area of Cambridge St. and Kansas St.

According to the Worcester PD, around 12:15 AM, officers were dispatched to the area of the railroad tracks for a welfare check.

The railroad employees called 911 and paramedics responded.

The babies were taken to a hospital and appeared to be unharmed.

Worcester Police Detectives and DCF are investigating the case. The children have been identified and are currently in DCF custody.
