WORCESTER – The I-290 westbound exit ramp at Kelley Square will be closed for two nights this week, according to an announcement by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation [MassDOT].
MassDOT had previously announced the Exit 13 off-ramp would be closed tonight, but on Monday, MassDOT modified their schedule and added that the ramp will be closed on Wednesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 12.
The ramp will be closed overnight from 9 PM to 5 AM beginning Wednesday and ending Friday for utility work.
Traffic will be detoured during the work and traffic will be directed to follow detour signage to Exit 11, College Square.
With the ramp being closed additional nights, it will mark three nights in an eight-day span that the ramp will be closed.
